On October 13th, I did an oral presentation in class. At that time, I felt a little more comfortable to speak in public. My presentation was about my experience in Ireland. For me it sounds like my lasting impressions of Ireland. At the first, I gave some information about Ireland and after that I showed my video about my personal experience. I felt immense pleasure to make this video. You can see this video here on Ireland experience video.
I don’t have much time in Europe. I’ve been studying English in Ireland since March and I have only few weeks to finish my English course. During this period I’ve been having many different experiences in Europe. Besides Limerick, I visited Dublin, some countrysides in Ireland and other European countries.
I’ve spent more time in Limerick city. I had Irish dance class in my first weeks in the city. I visited the main Limerick attractions and events and I worked as a volunteer at Elemental Limerick’s Art and Culture Festival.
I didn’t make as many friends as I would like to make. But some people will be forever on my mind.
At the same time I feel my time finished here, I feel my time hasn’t finished yet. A part of me wants to stay here and the other part wants to go back to my country. I want to visit many places, meet many people and learn more about Irish culture. However, I think that I don’t have enough time to do the things that I would like to do. But I’ll try to do something more and I’ll tell you my lasting impressions of Europe.
I’d like to live in Europe. However, it’s only a distant dream. All of us know that European continent can be geographically tiny but it’s culturally enormous. There are many different peoples living together in the same continent. I’m fascinated to visit more countries in this small territory and to learn more about European cultures.
I hope it’s not my last experience in Europe. One day I’ll come back to the old continent. Definitely I didn’t arrive at the end of my journey.
* Actually, I’m in Brazil now. I wrote this post when I was in Ireland. There is another post “After one month” on Jolly Along abroad. It was written after my return to Brazil.
